Tributes issued following fatal collision near Congleton

The families of a man and a woman who died following a fatal collision near Congleton have paid tribute to them.

Gemma Gregory, aged 32, and Drew Pedley, aged 22, both died in the early hours of Sunday 27 September following a collision on the A34 in Marton.

Gemma's parents said: "Gemma was a special daughter who was taken too soon, she was a loving mother, sister and will be sadly missed by the whole family. Rest in peace."

Drew's parents said: "Drew was a Loving son to Suzanne Lawton and Andrew Whitehurst, brother to Dan and Dex and devoted partner to Chloe. He will be sadly missed by all."

An investigation into the cause of the collision has been launched and enquiries remain on going.

Anyone with any information or dashcam footage that may aid the investigation is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting IML 814688, or give the details via Cheshire Police's website.
