Arnold passed away peacefully on Monday 15th July 2024 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 91.

The cherished husband of the late Joan, loving dad to Martyn, loving father-in-law to Debbie.

Jeffrey 'Jeff' Ridgway passed away suddenly and unexpected on Monday, 22nd July 2024, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 66.

Cherished husband and soul mate of his wife Shereen, a loving father to Kyle and Alliah, and a much-loved Poppee to his granddaughter Arianna.

Valerie passed away peacefully on October 26th 2020 aged 78. Following a short illness Trevor passed away on November 8th 2020 aged 82.

They were both dearly loved and devoted to each other. Loving parents of Stephen and Neil, father and mother-in law of Carol, treasured grandparents to Kayleigh and Oliver. Valerie was a loving sister of Michael and Richard. Trevor a loving brother of Gerald and Christine. Both were much loved friends to many.

Peacefully following a short illness. Alex aged 58 years and late of Congleton. Devoted wife of Gary and Loving mum of Andy and Nick. Peacefully on 16th October 2020 in the care of Stepping Hill Hospital, Adrienne aged 76 years late of Walfield Avenue and formerly of Davenport Lodge, Congleton. Devoted wife of David and loving mother of Sarah, Clare and Emily. Treasured Grandma of Archie and Ella. Family flowers only. Ron sadly passed away at home on October 1st 2020 aged 94. Ron will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. Born in 1926 in Manchester, Ron left school at 14 and was evacuated to Congleton where he joined an engineering company as an apprentice toolmaker.

Ron left home at 19 to join the navy and after 6 weeks in Portsmouth, he was shipped abroad to the Far East on an aircraft carrier. He was in the shower when the alarm went off, as a Japanese aircraft began firing. He later wrote that he was petrified and war had become very real! Later he was posted to Ceylon when the allies dropped the atomic weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, bringing an end to the war. He was later sent to Singapore where the ship underwent a refit. Ron used to be responsible for taking 20 Japanese prisoners for daily walks.
