Nine residents from Greengables Care Home in West Heath, Congleton, attended the home's 'End of Summer' beach and Hawaiian-themed party.
Residents helped to make decorations to decorate the dining room and lounges and there was an optional fancy dress code too (so lots of flowers, hula skirts and hats too!).
Colleagues played some Hawaiian themed music in the background as they hosted beach volleyball, 'Pass the Parcel', 'Hook-a-Duck' and a raffle for everyone to join in and take part in.
In addition, there was a tropical themed trolley visiting the residents as colleagues served mocktails, fresh exotic fruits and ice-cream as well as delicious macaroons and coconut cake.
Residents Grace and Glenys won the raffle, much to their delight. Other residents involved were Margaret, June, Margaret B, Leslie, Michael, David and Sheila who all loved the fancy dress and dancing.
One resident commented: "We all like the games and having fun."
Home Manager, Dawn Sadler, said: "Our beach-themed party went down a real hit with our residents, we must do another one soon."
