As the bank holiday weekend approaches, here are some roadworks taking place in and around Congleton.

Multi-way signals will be in place on Mountbatten Way on Sunday 5 May. The temporary traffic lights will allow Cheshire East Council to carry out "utility asset works".

Multi-way signals are currently in place on Bromley Road; work is due to be completed on Tuesday 7 May.

Highcroft Road will be closed between Park Lane and Edinburgh Road from 7 May until 10 May. "Carriageway patching" work is due to take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Multi-way signals are due to be installed on Macclesfield Road, near Galloway Green, on 4 May. This is to allow broken manholes to be fixed.
