Family set up foundation to help young people as they pledge to create a lasting legacy for Georgia

The family of a 'truly amazing' Congleton teenager who had 'so much love to give' are setting up a charity in her memory to create a lasting legacy.
Seventeen-year-old Georgia Ogden died last summer after a tragic car crash on the A34 in Astbury.
The Congleton High School sixth form student was a passenger in the Suzuki Swift, which collided with a lorry at the junction of Peel Lane with the A34 Newcastle Road.
Two of her friends, who were in the vehicle were also taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital with serious injuries.
Georgia, who was also known as Gee to family and friends was incredibly popular at Congleton High. She had also worked at Castaway Play in Congleton, who created a Georgia Leigh Ogden Playground in her memory at the indoor play centre.
Her parents Mandy and Mark have now set up the Georgia Leigh Ogden Foundation to ensure she leaves a lasting legacy.
Over £1,500 has already been raised through a GoFundMe page. Mr and Mrs Ogden stated the foundation was not currently registered with the Charity Commission as it had not yet raised enough money to fit the criteria of an unincorporated charity.
However, once they have raised sufficient funds to fit this criteria, they will register the foundation with the Charity Commission to obtain a charity number.
In a statement, the family said: "The primary goal of the charity is to help better the lives of those who are in need, which is something Gee always desired to do.
"Gee's kind and loving nature will live on through this foundation and the individuals whom it will help.
"We hope that something positive can come out of this absolutely tragic and heart-breaking situation.
"To achieve our aim of helping others, we will both be raising money via fundraising events and public donations, and also raising awareness of various issues."
The foundation will aim to help the well-being of children and young people living in the Cheshire and Staffordshire areas.
Paying tribute to their daughter through the foundation's Facebook page, her parents said: "Gee was a truly amazing and loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend meaning that her loss has created a huge void that can never be filled.
"Gee's feisty, unique and sassy spirit touched every person she ever met; she had so much love to give and always managed to capture a room, whether it was through her dancing, singing, acting, dramatic flair or sharp wit.
"The world has been a more sombre place without her shine, and she is missed beyond measure each and every day."
