Woman taken to hospital with arm injuries after being struck by a car in Astbury

A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital following a collision with a car on a road in Astbury.

Police were called to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car on Newcastle Road in Astbury at 1.30pm on Thursday (25th February).

A woman was taken to hospital by ambulance after sustaining an injury to her arm.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers attended to the scene and a woman was taken to hospital by ambulance who believed to have sustained an injury to her arm."

A North West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 1.34pm on Thursday to report a RTC involving a car and pedestrian on Newcastle Road."

The ambulance service confirmed that a woman in her 30s had been taken to hospital.
