The sessions are monthly and will cater for complete beginners and we will be able to make various different hand sewn pieces and take them home including bookmarks, coasters, lavender bags, hanging hearts or sample pieces. 

 We'll be using vintage and preloved fabrics, ribbon and lace to create something really unique to either keep or to give as a gift.

My name is Sarah Ratcliffe and I started my little business whilst on furlough during lockdown. I really needed something to focus on whilst I wasn't working and so I dusted my machine off and started to sew again! 

 I now run Fabric and Felt from my home in Leek making greeting cards and gifts from fabric, felt and free motion sewing. I stock in a number of different shops, I sell online and through my Etsy shop. 

 I have a background in teaching beauty therapy and so I'm thrilled to now be able to pass on my hand sewing skills in this session.
