Corner to Corner Crochet

Corner to Corner or C2C Workshop.

Corner to corner is a great technique to learn it is versatile and it build on basic crochet skills. It is based on various slanting or brick patterns. For this reason it makes it a popular technique for making Afghans especially those with geometric or pixelated designs.

The process uses a combination of chains and trebles to create small squares which are connected by slip stiches. Each block is made individually and worked diagonally increasing or decreasing as required.  

You will learn how to create beautiful textured designs. You will leave the workshop( hopefully ) with a small project( a coaster ) and the skills for you create bigger items at home.

It is also a way in which you can in corporate images into you work . This will be discussed in the class.

This 3 hour workshop is a great opportunity to expand your crochet knowledge and build on your skills in a fun and friendly way. 

The workshop will cover the basics of C2C including increase and decrease rows and colour changing.

This is a next level crochet class so is suitable for adventurous beginners . You will need knowledge of trebles , chains, slip stitches ( UK terms) and be able to identify a chain space.

Supporting written material will be provided .

Various colours of double knitting yarn will be provided but you will need to bring your own 4 mm crochet hook.

Refreshments are included eg tea coffee biscuits and soft drinks.
