Traveller encampment in Congleton remain on site

A group of travellers who arrived in Congleton on Saturday morning remain on site.

At 1.10pm on Saturday (18 July) police were called to reports of an unauthorised encampment on Worrall Street, Congleton.

Officers have attended the site and spoken to those present, and they will continue to pay "passing attention".

Cheshire Police told Nub News that the owner of the land is also aware of the encampment
