Gunpowder, Treason and Pallet?

This Guy on Lamberts Lane, is sitting it out. He's got his gunpowder at the ready and he's there, already, in front of the Houses of Parliament, ready to do his dastardly deed. (He obviously finds it warmer on his pallet, rather than sitting on the ground!)

Brolly Guy

Watching, waiting patiently and biding his time? Brolly Guy has clearly seen the weather forecast.

But what is he looking at? Waiting to see if the coast is clear, perhaps, before he sets his gunpowder, lights the blue touch paper and retires.

Rotary-Congleton's Guy Fawkes competition is clearly going off with a bang.

Full details, entry form and a button where you can support the club with a £5 entry fee to the competition are all online.

The competition runs until bonfire night, when it all goes up in smoke. Judges will be looking at photos and deciding who gets the £50 prize early next week.
