A Congleton town centre beer café will reopen its doors on Friday for the first time since full lockdown was implemented.

Barley Hops, on Swan Bank, has provided a local delivery service since March and ensured their loyal customers continue to receive their favourite wines, gins and beers.

However, after months of continued uncertainty for the hospitality industry, Barley Hops has announced they have changed the way they normally run to keep in line with Covid-19 laws.

Customers are being urged to book a table to avoid disappointment and everything will be table service. Bookings are for one or two hour slots.

A spokesperson for Barley Hops said: "There will be no standing at the bar. Your help to stick within the rules will be greatly appreciated."

Their opening hours are:

- Friday 4pm - Last orders 9.30pm

- Sunday 2pm - Last orders 6pm
