An applicant who has lodged several planning applications to build houses on a farm in Buglawton has submitted yet another proposal.

Mr Heath has applied for the change of use of existing agricultural buildings and conversion to two dwellings at Canalside Farm, Harvey Road, Buglawton.

However, Mr Heath has previously applied to convert the same agricultural buildings into three houses, but they were refused by Cheshire East and then recently thrown out by a planning inspector.

According to the submitted application, Mr Heath is the freehold owner of the agricultural buildings and surrounding agricultural land.

The access to the site would be off Harvey Road, which according to the applicant is 'of sufficient construction and dimensions, and benefits from sufficient visibility splay to serve the proposed development'.

The access into the site passes Hawthorn Cottage and through to the existing farm buildings would be 'upgraded to residential standards'.

The application also stated that the 'anticipated traffic to be generated by the proposed development was minimal and would not have detrimental impact upon the highways network'.

The agricultural activities would be relocated to land within the farm, holding outside of the centre of the village to the other farm buildings resulting in 'fewer traffic movements from farming machinery'.

The last date for submitting comments on Mr Heath's latest application which can be viewed here is 7th July.

Through delegated powers, Cheshire East have set 2nd August as the decision target date for the application.
