Father Christmas is sending a special message to the children of Congleton!

Whilst Father Christmas might not be coming to town so many times before Christmas this year, the old gent with the white beard, the red coat and a sackful of toys has recorded a special message for the children of Congleton.

Rotary-Congleton was lucky enough to secure a couple of magical minutes of his time, just before the latest lockdown. His message from his home in Lapland can be viewed online on the club's website.

The video is free to view as many times as you like, although a completely voluntary donation to Rotary funds would be gratefully received to support the club's charitable activities in the town.

Visitors to the website will be able to view the video in full-screen mode from now until Christmas, when Santa will have to leave to do his rounds with his reindeer.

He has said that it's 'business as usual', the elves are busy making toys and, despite everything, he will be out and about when the children are asleep on Christmas Eve!
