We are looking for a passionate and creative Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative power electronics technologies to improve technical performance and achieve new cost benchmarks.
  • Drive advancements in power electronics, focusing on assembly and construction techniques.
  • Design, prototype, and test ideas using simulations and physical prototypes in an agile environment.
  • Adopt new technologies and methodologies early to deliver timely solutions.
  • Engage in hands-on design prototyping and debugging.
  • Conduct product verification testing and ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Design with considerations for EMC/ESD.
  • Perform digital modeling and simulation of power electronics.
  • Network with universities and UK technical institutes to leverage cutting-edge knowledge and expertise.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Proven experience in working with power electronics hardware, particularly converters.
  • Demonstrated track record of innovation, diverse thinking, and creative problem-solving.
  • Strong curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with multi-site international teams.
  • Proactive with the ability to organize work and take ownership of tasks.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and effectively communicate and sell ideas.
  • Resilience and a willingness to learn from failures and try again.
  • Knowledge of German is a plus but not essential.
