We do this by providing a welcoming, happy, nurturing, and supportive learning environment, in which everyone is treated fairly and all achievements are celebrated.We think that our teams are the best in the industry - if you want to join us, there has never been a better time!Key ResponsibilitiesHelp in ensuring the smooth-running of the officeManaging the "front of house" area - greeting all visitors and making them feel welcomeArranging internal meetingsAssisting with special eventsBeing sure to project a professional image of the school at all timesForming effective relationships with support departments to ensure the efficient running of the school administration (including maintenance, health and safety processes, ordering of provisions and processing paymentsSupporting the pupil admissions and referral processesBeing an efficient and effective primary point of contact for all enquiries on the telephone, by email or in personEnsuring safeguarding of all young people underpins every decision madeProviding weekly staff attendance reports to People & Culture and Payroll, supporting the attendance management processMonitoring and reporting on pupil attendance and updating the school contacts databaseScheduling meetings and ensuring the delegates are notifiedSupporting the transition processes and preparing all necessary paperwork for students joining and moving on from the schoolWhat We Are Looking For:Excellent working knowledge of programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and numeracy skillsExcellent organisation skills, able to multi-task and prioritise work effectivelyA friendly manner with all visitors and stakeholdersStrong administration skills within a School/College environmentExperience of working in a SEMH/SEND school (desirable)The ability to update and maintain records on internal databases/systemsUnderstanding and experience of following school security proceduresThe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesThe ability to work the required hours (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm)The above serves as a guide and is not exhaustive; all professional staff are expected to undertake other duties and projects as may be reasonably required by the Headteacher in accordance with the needs of the school.
