Businesses celebrate great year at annual Chamber awards

The East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce celebrated its Business Awards for 2023 with an awards dinner at De Vere Cranage Estates, Holmes Chapel on Friday 17 March.

Over 200 guests and nominees were treated to a three-course dinner and a champagne reception, with East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce chief executive, Jackie Randles, Tim McCloud from TMC Strategic Communications and Peter Bowers of Berisford Ribbons compering for the evening.

Franklyn, the financial and wealth management company based in Congleton won the final Business of the Year award, which was presented by Hayley Rhodes from Acorn Occupational Health with Andrew Chatterton, managing director of Franklyn picking up the award alongside the rest of the Franklyn Team.

Other awards presented were Employer of the Year which was won by another Congleton-based company, Kanga Health which was won for its inclusive culture and diversity and the Manufacturer of the Year award which was won by Beartown Brewery.
