Congleton Town Mayor Margaret Gartside was guest of honour at the clubs Town Mayors Charity Tournament on Saturday July 2.
24 members took part in the West Street event.
It was an American Tournament, set under blue skies to establish the semi-finalists and there was some close competition.
In the first semi-final, Peter Aspin and Lydia Bass defeated Sam Maxwell and Paula Norris 10-7.
In the second semi-final James Porter and Kim Bennett defeated Kims daughter Lauren and Joe Williams by the same 10-7 score.
The final saw James and Kim victorious over Peter and Lydia.
Organiser Andrew Giltrap thanked all those who took part, Maureen Taylor and Jackie Simpson for serving refreshments of tea and scones, Lindsay Newton for baking the scones, Nick Wilkins for running the bar, and James Moore from sponsors Voice IP Comms.
The prizes courtesy of Voice IP Comms (of John Bradshaw Court) were £30 vouchers for the Plough at Eaton, and were presented by the Mayor to James and Kim
