Northern Girls

Northern Girls, a group of Cheshire-based professional artists, are taking over the Clonterbrook Gallery in Swettenham this weekend.

The exhibition showcases the diverse yet complementary works of the artists- Allie Pottinger, Zelda Pickup, Alison Stafford, Ginny McDermott, Kate Fawcett and Diane Metcalfe.

The gallery will be open to visitors from 10am to 4pm Friday (September 19) through to Sunday (September 21)

Saturday (20/09)

Oktoberfest

Congleton Market Quarter is hosting Oktoberfest on Saturday.

The Oompah Stompers will take to the stage at 8pm, bringing a night of Bavarian music and atmosphere to the town centre.

Oktoberfest beers will be pouring from both R&G's Taphouse and The Foundry throughout the event.

Tuesday (23/09)

Story and Tea with Jo Bell

For over twenty years, Jo bell, archaeologist, poet and boat dweller has travelled the waterways of England and Wales, meeting extraordinary people in an extraordinary environment.

At Congleton Library on Tuesday, Jo will be sharing extracts from her new memoir 'Boater' and talking about life on the canals.

The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
