Three Congleton schools will be getting new road safety education equipment following a successful funding application.

PSCO Ben Hooper, of Congleton West Police, is currently working with the Congleton Education Community Partnership on the approved Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner application.

St Mary's Catholic Primary School, The Quinta Primary School and Marfields Primary School will be getting the equipment.

PCSO Hooper said: "This equipment will be owned and used by the schools with the community policing team using it to teach the children how to navigate and use roads safely."
