A local taxi company is showing their support during these "difficult times" by offering free transport to Congleton residents who are having their Covid-19 vaccination at the town hall.

Up until 21st February, A Stars Taxis will be offering the town's senior citizens (65+) free travel to and from the vaccination centre.

To receive this offer, residents must when booking on the phone mention the code VACCINE65.

A Stars Taxis spokesperson said: "We understand our senior citizens may struggle to travel to their vaccination appointment.

"We are all in this together and we as a local business would like to help fight the virus.

"Our thoughts are with all of our customers during this difficult time. Keep safe and be assured of our ongoing service."
