Position: Project Design Engineer Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday - Thursday, Full-time Condensed hours)

If you are a motivated and experienced engineer looking to contribute to a dynamic team in a highly regulated industry, we invite you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates • Lead concept development and development testing • Present design reviews to internal and external stakeholders • Manage qualification programs and draft necessary documentation • Validate 3D models and 2D drawings • Validate tool designs, BOM's, and routings • Establish and update compliance matrices and verification plans • Liaise with customers to ensure specifications are met • Support Project Manager in technical project activities • Manage technical risks using tools like Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis Skills, Experience & Qualifications: • Experience in designing products in a highly regulated industry • Knowledge of metallic ducting systems or thin wall sheet metal products • Experience leading product development and qualification test programs • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus • Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering • Basic understanding of CAD systems (CAITA or Autodesk Inventor) • Familiarity with New Product Introduction Process Principles (AS9745, APQP) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated and proactive Desirable: • Basic understanding of CAD systems (CAITA or Autodesk Inventor) • New Product Introduction Process Principles (AS9745, APQP) • Cost estimating Company Benefits: • Competitive salary • Excellent pension and life assurance scheme • Career progression opportunities • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) • Health and wellbeing services • Birthday vouchers • Employee Assistance Programme • Cycle to Work scheme • Free parking • Social events Please submit your application with a detailed CV showcasing your relevant experience and qualifications.
