Founded in 2009, iD-Geoenvironmental Limited (ID-Geo) is an independent geoenvironmental and geotechnical consultancy specialising in the redevelopment of brownfield and greenfield land.

Role Description

This is a full-time role (with flexibility for some remote working) for a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer at iD GeoEnvironmental Limited, located in Congleton, Cheshire. You will be receive excellent on-the-job training from Chartered Engineers in site investigation, contaminated land assessment and remediation, earthworks and mining investigation projects. You will become proficient in conducting geotechnical and environmental assessments to assist our clients in progressing their projects. Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to the development of reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role will suit a keen geologist who is looking to work outdoors and within the office and travel to various project sites within the UK.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in conducting data analysis and producing technical reports
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with geotechnical software and modeling tools is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Full driving licence and access to a car essential
