Congleton boxer gets professional career off to a winning start

A Congleton boxer's career got off to a winning start.
Ramtin Musah competed professionally for the first time on Saturday (April 5), on the undercard of Joe Joyce vs Filip Hrgovic at Co-op Live in Manchester.
Rambo's record stands at 1-0 after beating Robbie Chapman via points in a four-round bout.
Taking to social media after, the 25-year-old posted: "Happy to have made my long anticipated professional debut in my home city of Manchester!
"A big thank you to my team for preparing me for this moment – Tony Sims, John Ryder, Sal Jobe and Olly Ward.
"Also, I would like to thank my sponsors, friends and family who have supported me throughout my journey!
"I want to thank everyone who bought a ticket or streamed it - the support I receive was amazing.
"Little break and ready for the next one."
Rambo was born in Ghana but moved to the UK with his father at the age of five.
At 14 he joined Beartown Boxing Gym and quickly made history, becoming the club's first-ever national champion.
He would go on to represent both England and Team GB on the international stage before bringing his amateur career to an end in 2024.
In January, Musah signed with Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions.
