In a statement, Congleton Town Council said: "A number of windows really stood out and there was some stiff competition.

"But after some debate Rogers Barbers on High Street was declared the winner for its fun and creative display.

"Joint second place went to Stephenson Browne and Craft Room GB Interiors.

"Third place was awarded to Hightown Post Office."

They were also presented with certificates.

The windows were judged for impact, creativity and effort by four independent judges and the scores tallied to find the winners.

Jane Bostock, Owner of Hightown Post Office said: "We're thrilled our window caught the judges eye! We worked so hard on the display, especially my talented niece Evie Bostock, who spent hours creating the design.
