Friday (31/10)

Beartown Ghoul-Down

Congleton Market Quarter is diving head first into the spooky spirit.

The party gets started on Thursday with a Halloween-themed quiz.

Then on Friday its the main event, with the Beartown Ghoul-Down serving up live music, drinks and food.

Meanwhile, Pukht will be holding a skeleton selfie giveaway, with a £50 voucher up for grabs.

Halloween parties

Several pubs and bars in the area will be joining in on the Halloween fun this year.

The Coach & Horses in Timbersbrook will host an all-evening celebration from 4pm with live music, fancy dress, and cocktails, while The Olde Kings Arms welcome all from 8pm for a fancy-dress party with DJ Steve B, karaoke, and prizes.

Meanwhile, The Radway Club is holding its annual adults-only Halloween bash with live band The Del Gatos.

Saturday (01/11)

Fireworks

Congleton Rotary Club stages its its annual Bonfire & Fireworks Display at Congleton Park this Saturday, November 1.

The much-loved community event will feature a torchlight procession, a huge bonfire, funfair rides, food stalls and not one but two firework displays - making it a great way for families to support the Rotary's charitable efforts.

Rotary president Eddie Roberts said: "Come along, bring your family and friends, enjoy the funfair rides, delicious food, and Rotary merchandise, and show your support for a fantastic community event. It's going to be a truly magical night – don't miss it!"
