Guy Fawkes Night is fast approaching.

Congleton Rotary Club is gearing up to host its annual Bonfire & Fireworks Display at Congleton Park.

This much-loved community event will feature a torchlight procession, a huge bonfire, funfair rides, food stalls and not one but two firework displays - making it a great way for families to support the Rotary's charitable efforts.

Rotary president Eddie Roberts said: "We're really excited to welcome everyone to what promises to be a spectacular night for the whole family.

"With our torchlight procession, bonfire, and two incredible fireworks displays, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

"All proceeds go to support local good causes, helping our community thrive.

"This event is organised entirely by dedicated Rotary members, all volunteers, and we couldn't do it without their hard work and commitment.

"Come along, bring your family and friends, enjoy the funfair rides, delicious food, and Rotary merchandise, and show your support for a fantastic community event. It's going to be a truly magical night – don't miss it!"

Gates for the event on Saturday, November 1, open at 5pm.

The evening kicks off with a torchlight procession and bonfire lighting at 6pm.

The first fireworks display at 6.30pm will be suitable for the whole the family, with quieter bursts making it perfect for young children.

The main professional display will be at 7.30pm, lasting 20 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from Congleton Information Centre inside the town hall or from the Rotary gazebo, which will be located in the town centre on October 11, 18 and 25 and November 1.

Alternatively, purchase tickets online here.

Advance tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £5 for children aged five to 15, with under fives going free.

There is also a family ticket (two adults and two children) priced at £22.

Tickets can also be purchased on the gate, but will be slightly more expensive.
