From BBC funnies to an autumnal market in Astbury, here's what you can get up to in Congleton over the next few days.

Here's four fun things you can do in Congleton this weekend.

Autumn Market

In the week that a miniature railway was refused for Glebe Farm, a big event will also be held.

A seasonal market will be held for six and a half hours.

From face painting, circus skills and Congleton companies. There will be something for everyone here.

There will be a kid's treasure hunt, local festive stalls, all put on by the Small Street Markets Company.

Open Mic

Located on 12 Swan Bank, Congleton is The Cygnet Club.

This Friday from 8:30pm there will be an open mic night.

Bring your own kit is preferred, but there will be a free drink for the performer.

Blackadder

On Friday and Saturday there are the final two performances of Congleton's take on a classic BBC sitcom.

Blackadder II will be performed at The Daneside Theatre on Park Road.

Both shows kicking off at 7:30pm.

Friday Night Cocktails

Cocktails on the Corner are hosting a psychic and nibbles night this Friday from 7pm.

Tickets are £25 per person price includes a cocktail on arrival.

Psychic Nicci will be there, who has over 30 years experience as a psychic. There's also a graze board full of Oh So Sweets favourite cheeses, breads and sweet treats
