A play which was penned during lockdown and made its debut in Congleton last year, is to return for a second showing.
Girl in Isolation by Congleton and Macclesfield culture collective West Kingston Productions will have another showing 13 months after the October 2021 premiere.
The one-time return of the play will take place at The Old Saw Mill on Sunday 20 November 2022.
The comedy-drama sees an eccentric young woman caught at the beginning of a global pandemic in lockdown in her one bedroom apartment in the big city.
During the maiden Congleton performance, Girl in Isolation was received warmly by two enthusiastic crowds as its engrossing monologue was performed expertly by Shannon Kirrane.
Congleton resident and playwright Lesley Creaser Guymer said: "West Kingston Productions are extremely proud and excited to present to you for one final time - Shannon Kirrane as Sally Whittaker in 'Girl in Isolation', this time being recorded for radio purposes."
"Bring along your performing talents as we invite you to not only watch, but also to join in, as we require sound for our radio play and we will need people to do it for us!"
"The play is preceded by a delicious afternoon tea provided once again by The Old Saw Mill café, the original and final home of Girl in Isolation."
Macclesfield pianist Jack Mitchell Smith provides the music.
Tickets cost £30 with afternoon tea, or for £15 performance only (with limited availability).
