More details have been revealed about Congleton's new beauty, health and wellness destination.

The Retreat officially opens at Congleton Market Quarter on Saturday, February 14.

It will bring eight independent businesses together under one roof, offering everything from therapy and spa treatments to hairdressing and nail art.

A spokesperson for The Retreat said: "We have an amazing host of local independent health, beauty and wellness businesses that are moving into The Retreat and it would be great to celebrate this coming together where The Retreat can become the communities go-to convenience space for all of their health, beauty and wellness needs!"

To celebrate the launch, The Retreat will be hosting a Galentine's Day event from 12pm to 4pm on February 14.

There will be live music and free samples and treatments, as well as the chance to meet the specialists behind each of the eight businesses.

Kay Sheriff Hair Education - A hair education specialist who trains hairdressers and stylists.

Nureleya - Dani is a renowned reiki and breathwork specialist who is bringing her skills to the space.

The Calm House Collective - Laura is a trained psychotherapist who will be offering sessions from the space.

The Luminous Clinic By Fran & Jess - Fran and Jess are a health and wellness duo who offer a range of services including japanese headspa, aesthetics and professional make-up.

The Nail Station - Sought after nail specialists Hannah is moving her brand to The Retreat and we're so excited for her to join. She's one of Congleton's leading nail artists.

The Spine Space - An amazing chiropractic practice which is expanding from Stoke, to a new brand in Congleton.
