By Matthew Hancock-Bruce 1st Aug 2026
You can have fun and help to raise vital funds for an important cause this summer.
GSM Padel have chosen Circus Starr as their 2026 charity of the year.
To celebrate, Congleton's new padel facility will be hosting a family fun day on Thursday, August 27.
Ivy Wong-Tebbitts, community relations officer at Circus Starr, said: ''We are delighted that GSM Padel chose us to be their charity of the year, helping us to create accessible shows for children with disabilities and SEN challenges and their families.
"The team certainly knows how to put the fun back into fundraising and we are so excited about their fantastic event this summer!''

The fun day takes place at GSM Padel on Holmes Chapel Road from 12pm to 4pm
There will be free padel and coaching throughout the day, as well as a bouncy castle and an inflatable obstacle course.
Visitors will also be able enjoy a number of food vendors and enter a raffle with a variety of exciting prizes.
Jack Whiston-Rowe, owner of GSM Padel, said: "I first met Ivy at the Congleton Town Mayor's Charity Ball, where we had the opportunity to talk about the incredible work Circus Starr does for children and families.
"During our conversation, Ivy explained the charity's mission of providing inclusive circus performances for children with disabilities, additional needs, and those facing challenging circumstances.
"As a father myself, choosing Circus Starr was an easy decision. Every child deserves the chance to experience joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories, regardless of the challenges they may face.
"Being a parent has given me a deeper appreciation of how important those special moments are, not just for children, but for their families too."
Jack added: "We are incredibly excited about making this charity event a real success, not only to raise vital funds for Circus Starr but also to bring our local community together for a fun and memorable day.
"Our goal is to create an event where everyone feels welcome, whether they're experienced padel players or trying the sport for the very first time.
"We want people of all ages to come along, enjoy the fantastic inflatable attractions, take part in the activities, and discover just how enjoyable and accessible padel can be."
