GSM Padel in Congleton is preparing to launch a Kids Academy.

It follows a successful summer programme which culminated in a family fun day in aid of Circus Starr on Thursday, August 27.

Jack Whiston-Rowe, owner of the new padel centre on Holmes Chapel Road, couldn't be happier with how things went and is looking forward to welcoming more youngsters over the coming weeks.

He said: "We were absolutely delighted with the incredible turnout and so pleased to see so many families come together to enjoy a fantastic day, all while supporting such a wonderful cause.

"Plenty of prizes won on the raffle, some great rallies on the court with coach craig, and target practice with the new ball machine. I didn't get to go on the giant inflatable but maybe next time!

"A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special.

"Special mention to Amelia at Brenda's Bakery with treats to die for and Little Oven Pizzas whose wood fired pizzas went down a treat!

Kids Academy

Following the fantastic success of their summer holiday camps, GSM Padel have announced the launch of a new Kids Academy.

This will provide a fun, safe and welcoming environment where children can play, learn, socialise and create lots of amazing memories.

Sessions will be held every Wednesday, with children split into various age groups.

From 4pm to 5pm there will be a class for nine to 12 year olds, along with a seperate session for ages 13 to 16.

Then from 5pm to 6pm there will be a class for children aged five to eight.

There are just eight spaces available in each group, priced at £10 per class.

Jack said: "As parents, we all want our children to have opportunities to have fun, make friends, build confidence and try new things and that's exactly what our Kids Academy is all about!

"We're excited to continue providing children with a fun, safe and welcoming environment where they can be themselves, meet new friends and enjoy a variety of activities.

"Whether your child is already confident and outgoing or a little shy and needs some encouragement, our Kids Academy is a great opportunity to step outside their comfort zone, develop new skills and create fantastic memories."

For those looking to take things at their own pace, GSM Padel also offer parent and child court bookings for just £22.

This offer is available before 5pm on weekdays and from 7am to 9am and 1pm to 10pm on weekends.

Meanwhile, under 18s can play for just £5pp before 5pm on weekdays and all weekend long.

How to book

To book a court or a session at GSM Padel, you will need the Playtomic app.

Simply search for 'Playtomic' in the Google Play Store or App Store on your Android or iOS device, then install.

Once downloaded, open the app and use your Apple, Google, or Facebook account, or any preferred email, and fill out the registration form with your name, phone number and a chosen password.

You're now ready to book!

For a court, just click 'book a court' , find GSM Padel and select the court, date and time that works for you.

You can also book socials and classes through the Playtomic app under 'Events/Academy'.

For kids classes, make sure to also email your child's details to [email protected].
