Staff at a local home care provider are in the running for top industry awards.

Aceso Homecare has announced that five of its dedicated team members have been named North West regional finalists in the prestigious Great British Care Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence across the social care sector, highlighting the dedication of individuals and organisations who deliver outstanding care.

Paul Best, managing director at Aceso Homecare, said "We are incredibly proud of our team for achieving this recognition at such a prestigious event.

"It reflects the values of Aceso Homecare and our mission to put people at the heart of everything we do."

Paul and his wife, Jane Best, set up Aceso Homecare in 2015 after a member of their family became in need of long-term care.

Today, Aceso has clients in Congleton, Astbury, Hightown, Mossley, Buglawton and West Heath.

They offer specialist elderly, dementia, palliative and respite care as well as companionship and live-in care.

Aceso also provide reablement and rehabilitation services along with support for adults of all ages with disabilities.

Five members of the Aceso team have now been nominated for awards in recognition of their commitment, compassion and leadership skills.

Nicole Griffiths is up for Homecare Registered Manager while Lorraine White will be hoping to win the award for Care Co-Ordinator.

Jeanette Roberts is in the running for the Putting People First Award with Lauren Alford named a finalist for the Frontline Leaders Award.

Last but certainly not least, Tinashe Ngwerume is up for the Newcomer of the Year award.

Winners will be announced at the North West regional finals in Manchester in November.
