The streets of Congleton will be filled with over 40 food, craft and community stalls, along with a selection of fairground rides.

At 5.40pm, the lantern parade will set off from Mill Street, leading Santa's sleigh to the Christmas tree ahead of the switch-on at 6pm.

The main stage by the tree will play host to live entertainment throughout the event, with performances from Rode Hall Silver Band, Shakermaker and Harry Jones.

Meanwhile, the community stage at the top of Swan Bank will welcome local schools and community groups.

Those looking to meet Father Christmas can head to the Town Hall for Santa's grotto and the children's zone.

There is also a quiet zone inside the Town Hall along with an inclusive area inside The Space.

Please also note that road closures will be in place on High Street, Mill Street, and Swan Bank from 12pm to 10pm.
