Congleton is preparing to welcome the festive season with its annual Christmas lights switch-on.
Taking place from 4pm to 8pm next Friday, November 28, the town centre will come alive with magical lights and festive cheer.
Expect a lantern parade, live entertainment, market stalls and much more.
Congleton Town Mayor, councillor Robert Brittain said: "The Christmas lights switch-on is a highlight of the year for Congleton.
"It brings our community together to celebrate, shop local, and enjoy a truly magical festive atmosphere.
"I can't wait to see the town sparkle and welcome families, friends, and visitors to celebrate the start of Christmas in Congleton."

Lantern parade and switch-on
The Lantern Parade will gather at 5.15pm on Mill Street, accompanied by the lively samba group, Karamba.
Setting off at 5.40pm, the procession will lead Saint Nick to the big Christmas tree by Higher Ground Cafe and Bar, with Congleton Rugby Club pulling Santa's sleigh.
The switch-on itself takes place at 6pm.
Live entertainment
Visitors can look forward to a full programme of entertainment, including performances on the main stage by Rode Hall Silver Band, Shakermaker, and Harry Jones.
Meanwhile, the community stage on Swan Bank will host performances by local school and community groups.
There will also be street performers and the return of the popular Comedy Elves.

What else?
The town centre will host over 40 festive stalls as well as fairground rides, with many high street shops and hospitality venues staying open late especially for the event.
Families can also visit Santa's Grotto inside the Town Hall, alongside a children's zone with festive activities and face painting.
Entry is free but you can beat the queues by booking fast-track in advance here.
Father Christmas will also give a special rooftop wave from The Space at 7pm.
The event also features accessible facilities and quiet zones in The Space and Congleton Town Hall to ensure everyone can join in the celebrations.
Road closures
A number of road closures will be in place to help keep the event safe.
High Street, Mill Street, and Swan Bank will all be impacted.
These closures will come into effect from midday on Friday, remaining in place until 10pm.
