Work is taking place to identify trespassers at a former shopping centre.
Cheshire Police have launched an investigation after being made aware of a number of break-ins at Capital Walk in Congleton town centre.
The latest such incident was reported on Monday, June 1.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Over recent weeks, police have received a number of reports of teenagers entering the former Capital Walk shopping centre in Congleton.
"The latest incident was reported at 5pm on June 1.
"Enquiries to identify those involved remain ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time."
This latest statement from Cheshire Police comes after a TikTok user by the name of Lost Entry shared a video in which they explored the disused shopping centre.
Captioned 'sneaking into a recently abandoned market in Cheshire', the footage has been viewed over 24,000 times.
Police say the owner of Capital Walk is supporting them with their investigation and will be looking to improve security measures in the coming weeks.
"Entering a premises without permission is trespassing and may also constitute criminal damage or burglary related offences," a police spokesperson added.
"Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible, and prosecution may follow suit where appropriate.
"We ask parents and guardians to speak with young people about the dangers and legal consequences of this type of behaviour."
