Global coffee chain set to open new shop in Congleton
An international coffee shop chain is set to open a new outlet in Congleton, with the town featured on its website's "coming soon" list.
Esquires Coffee, which currently has 65 UK branches, including Hanley, has targeted Congleton as of 17 new target locations.
The Canadian eco giant, which also has businesses in Australasia, China, Ireland, Portugal and the Middle East, has secured a franchisee to drive the brand in Congleton.
Esquires is an organic coffee company, using fair trade coffee, recyclable and compostable coffee cups and other utensils.
After being established in Vancouver in 1993, the coffee house chain is now owned by Cooks Coffee company.

Aggregate sales in its UK and Ireland Esquires stores hit £600,000 weekly in spring, with this recorded across more than 80,000 transactions.
CEO of Cooks Coffee Company, Aiden Keegan, said: "We are delighted with the strong start to the year.
"The performance across the UK and Ireland of the Esquires Coffee brand is a testament to our dedicated team and our strategic focus on expansion and customer experience.
"The new stores have performed very well, and we are excited about the continued opportunities for growth in both markets."
The location for Esquires Coffee in Congleton is yet to be confirmed. Nub News has contacted the coffee chain for comment.
