Hop Upstairs is a free, monthly music event at the Barley Hops, 29 High, St Congleton, featuring local musicians. The next event will be at 7pm on 12 November with Bear Wires, featuring singer-songwriter, Glyn Roberts, and electric guitarist, Chris Wood. They will be playing a set comprising original songs, including a mix of Glyn's latest compositions, some of which are featured on the charity album, Crossing Borders, produced by Glyn and John Miller. There will be a mix of rocky, up-tempo foot-tappers, dark/moody songs, country heartbreakers and funkier/jazzier vibes. All this and a fine selection of good beers and wine to choose from if you hop downstairs.
