Family-run deli praised for 12 years of dedication to the community

A family-owned deli has been praised for its commitment to the town centre.
Crema Deli on Bridge Street has been presented with a 10 Year High Street Award by Congleton Town Council in honour of its service since opening in 2013.
Run by husband-and-wife team Kevin and Rebecca Aksul, the deli is known for its delicious aromas and authentic tastes – offering high-quality cheeses, meats, olives, salads, fresh bread, and a coffee menu for both dine-in and takeaway customers.
Despite increased competition from the growing number of new coffee houses on the high street, the couple has continued to build on their strengths, focusing on homemade food and exceptional customer service.
Rebecca said: "We're incredibly proud of this recognition.
"Our team – many of whom have been with us longer than we've owned the shop – are the real stars.
"We're grateful to our loyal customers and look forward to continuing to serve them the best food and coffee in town."

Crema Deli was nominated for the award by a regular customer, who visits every Tuesday morning for a coffee with their wife.
They praised the staff, describing them as 'friendly, helpful, and nothing is ever too much trouble'.
The award was presented to Crema Deli by Town Mayor, councillor Robert Brittain.
He said: "Crema Deli is a fantastic example of what makes Congleton's high street so special – quality food, warm service, and long-standing dedication to the community.
"We're proud to celebrate their 10 years of success and continued commitment."
