Nestled within the picturesque landscape of Glebe Farm, a charming and vibrant artisan shop has opened its doors, inviting locals and visitors alike to embark on a journey through the world of craft and creativity.

Opening on Friday the 18 August, the launch party welcomed guests to join founders Clare Watson - Knotting Special, and Jenny Drew - Little Jen Jewellery - for a drinks reception, followed by ribbon cutting and a delightful buffet.

Flamingo themed cakes provided the finishing touch to a fantastic evening, filled with laughter and friendship.

Artisanity's collection is a curated range of artisanal treasures that span a variety of mediums and styles. Every corner of the shop brings a unique narrative, blending traditional techniques and contemporary designs, that speak from the heart of the makers.

Attendees mingled with the creative minds behind each exquisite creation, learning about the inspirations that fuelled their craft and the stories woven into every piece.

Artisanity promises to be more than just a shop; it's a celebration of artistry, community, and the beauty of handmade creations. With a keen focus on promoting local talent, the shop boasts an eclectic collection of handcrafted goods that range from intricate macrame and hand printed textiles to finely detailed felting and exquisite jewellery - and much more!

In an era where mass-produced goods dominate the market, Artisanity stands as a beacon of hope for preserving and cherishing age-old craftsmanship. Each piece tells a story of the artisan's dedication, the love and skill that goes into creating something unique, and the sense of pride that accompanies each piece.

Community and Connection

More than just a place to buy beautiful things, Artisanity is a hub for community engagement. Workshops and classes are frequently held, providing enthusiasts of all ages the chance to learn from the skilled artisans themselves. Whether it's a crochet workshop where you can learn the techniques to make your own piece, or a macrame making class that lets you create wearable art, these experiences foster a sense of connection between visitors and the artists.

Artisanity is waiting to welcome you into its world of craftsmanship and artistry.
