A business near Congleton had a successful first open day at the weekend - with over 200 people attending throughout the day.

Visitors to Pedley's Pony to Paddock at Boghall Farm in Chance Hall Lane, were able to get advice on well-known brands Red Gorilla and Topspec as well as a unicorn from Miniature Pony Parties, and free light refreshments for all.

As well as all of this, they had a representative from The Donkey Sanctuary to sell a range of gifts and also offer advice and any questions people had at the event on Saturday (September 2nd).

Pedley's Pony to Paddock's very own rescue donkeys Maggie and Dotty enjoyed lots of attention and fuss from lots of the attendees of the event.

There was exclusive one day discounts on some of the shop's products on the day and some randomly selected attendees even got their hands on one of 20 goodie bags on offer.

The event was well attended with over 200 customers both new and existing. Pedley's Pony to Paddock gave thanks on their social media:

'A spokesperson said: "It was an amazing first open day for Pedley's Pony to Paddock, and we are so grateful to everyone who attended.

"We had over 200 customers new and existing! We also managed to raise a great donation for The Donkey Sanctuary.

"A special thanks to the amazing reps, Katherine from Red Gorilla and Heidi from TopSpec, we couldn't have wished for more wonderful and helpful reps!"

"Also our amazing team, this event would not have been possible without their help and heavy lifting!

"Thankyou also to the fabulous brands who helped us make our stunning goodie bags -@Bedmax @Equiveg @redgorilla @horslyx @hestevard_equine @carrdaymartin @likit @honeychop @go_ethos @britishhorsefeeds @topspec_horse_feeds @nafuk @baileyshorsefeeds @spillershorsefeeds @perryequestrian."
