A craft beer bar in Congleton has served its final pint.

The Little Street Cellar closed for good following a final soirée on Monday, August 18.

It comes just three years after it was opened by Matt Jones and Danielle Finneron as the first physical premises of their microbrewery, The Roving Beer Company.

A Facebook post announcing the closure read: "Sadly, this will be our final weekend trading at The Little Street Cellar.

"Despite best efforts, financial pressures have proven too great and we have finally 'run out of road'.

"We've had an unbelievable three years in our little bar - beautiful beers, outstanding musicians, awesome events and, of course, loads of truly amazing people."

The Little Street Cellar went out with a bang, starting with an open mic night on Sunday, August 17, hosted by Joe Nixon.

Then, on Monday, the bar hosted a farewell quiz.
