Congleton's MP has confirmed whether or not they attended a Christmas Party at Downing Street last year.

After a week where the government were caught laughing about hosting Christmas parties last December during coronavirus restrictions, MPs across the nation have bene confirming whether they went or not.

And for the people of Congleton, they have a right to know if their MP of 11 years or their staff attended any of these events.

Fiona Bruce MP (64) said: "I neither held nor attended any Christmas party last year."

While this confirms that she did not attend any of the three Christmas parties being investigated by parliament, she did not respond to comment as to whether any of her staff attended these parties.

Congleton Nub News have reaffirmed this question regarding her the attendance of her assistants.

Fiona also did not respond to a letter sent by Congleton Labour asking her on whether she would call for Boris Johnson to resign.
