Community library installed at new Congleton development ahead of International Literacy Day

A community library has been installed at a new development in Congleton.
Bookworms living at Round Hill Gardens can now make use of a new communal book box, encouraging residents to leave behind finished books and take new ones.
The mini library was installed by housebuilder Redrow just in time for International Literacy Day on Monday, September 8.
Redrow NW sales director Anna Evans-Kerr said: "This is the eighth book box we have installed for our residents in the North West.
"Our aim is to continue to build really strong communities and bring customers together after they've moved into their homes.
"We've found in our other developments that books have been a great conversation starter amongst new neighbours. We also encourage children to share their books and their love for reading."

Located on Manchester Road the 64-acre Round Hill Gardens development will eventually feature 454 new homes, with a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties split across two phases - Woodlands and Blossoms.
