Cheshire East Highways continue work on Congleton road to convert traffic light signals to LED

Cheshire East Highways' work to convert existing traffic light signals to LED on a Congleton road continues.

Holmes Chapel Road in Congleton currently has temporary traffic lights in place.

But alongside new LED signals, the borough's highways team will also be adding pedestrian detection, which allows users to trigger the light sensor by holding their hand under the box, instead of pressing a button.
