Congleton U3A Bikeathon team raises £315 for North West Air Ambulance Charity

The recent Rotary-Congleton Bikeathon saw teams riding to raise money for local good causes.

U3A cycling group raised a total of £630 with the proceeds divided between Rotary's own work in the community and the North West Air Ambulance Charity.

Martyn told us that the cycling group chose to ride for the charity in recognition of the help received from the Air Ambulance when one of their members was involved in an accident.
