Cocktail of the Week: Fruity Festive Punch
Congleton Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature.
This week, Josh is bringing you a refreshing and fruity punch, the Fruity Festive Punch. Don't let the passionfruit deceive you, this packs a seriously festive punch!
It includes fruit juices like a classic party punch, but some festive favourites you see in Christmas cocktails and mulled wine and cider - we said it packs a 'punch'.
Find out how to blow some socks (and stockings) off this Christmas...
Ingredients:
- 25ml cranberry juice
- 25ml orange juice
- 25ml spiced rum
- 25ml amaretto
- 25ml wine (red, white or rosé - whichever you prefer!)
- splash of angostura bitters
Method:
- add all of your ingredients to a shaker with ice
- shake until chilled
- strain into a tumbler - add ice if it is too strong for you
- garnish with a passionfruit (or pomegranate, for cheery Christmas vibes!
