Mocktail of the Week: Sea Breeze
Mocktail of the Week: Sea Breeze

Congleton Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature - only this January, we are doing a Mocktail of the Week to help those of you tackling Dry January after the festive period.

This week, Josh is bringing you a family-friendly version of a popular tipple, the Sea Breeze.

This cocktail is a fruity favourite and is easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml cranberry juice
  • 50ml grapefruit juice
  • squeeze of lime juice - if you like it a bit sour

Method:

  1. add all of your ingredients to a shaker with ice
  2. shake until chilled
  3. strain into a martini glass
  4. garnish with a slice of lime

Hint - if you like it sweet, consider garnishing the rim of the glass with a little sugar. To do so, run your lime wedge around the rim, add sugar to a plate and roll the rim of the glass in the sugar.

Check back next week for another Mocktail of the Week, shared each Friday to get the weekend started this January.

Alternatively, take a look at our festive cocktail feature to use up those Christmas leftovers here.

Share your own feature by clicking the 'Nub It' button at the top of the News page.
