Rowing the Atlantic - An illustrated talk by local rower Gail Wolstenholme.
A team of 5 experienced rowers is training to take on the Atlantic Challenge rowing 3000 miles from L Gomera to Antigua in December 2027.
The crew will have an average age of over 50. Through this extraordinary journey they aim to break stereotypes, spark conversations, and inspire others to embrace active, purposeful living. Come and hear Gail's story .
Admission free.
Donations will go to help the team get to the start line and ultimately to raise money for their charities: Men Unite, a men's mental health charity, East Cheshire Hospice, and Warrior Expeditions, helping ex military overcome PTSD.
