A beloved Congleton antique centre is closing.

Victoria Mill Antiques & Collectors Centre will shut for good at the end of the month.

Congleton Nub News approached the venue for a comment explaining the reasons behind this decision on April 2.

However, as of April 21, no such explanation has been provided.

In the meantime, the following post was shared on the centre's Facebook page: "Victoria Mill Antiques & Collectors Centre is closing on the 30th of April 2026."

"Thank you for your custom over the last 15 years."

It is understood stallholders were given just a few weeks' notice to vacate.

Among them is Betty & Flo Vintage Homewares, who moved out earlier this month and are now embarking on a new project, Lawrence Wilson & Co.

A Facebook post shared by the business reads: "As many of you know, we said goodbye to Victoria Mill Antique Centre as it begins it's next chapter.

"It's been such a special place for us, and we're so grateful for all the friends we've made there.

"Thank you to everyone who has bought our items and visited us there.

"Thank you to all the staff and fellow dealers at Victoria Mill for their help, assistance and general loveliness. We wish you all the best!"

Several traders are offering discounts ahead of the final day.

Trash N Treasures, at unit 11, posted: "It's the place to go if you want to grab a bargain, but please be patient at the till as it so busy.

"It is a sad time for all the staff, unit holders and regular customers."

"As well as the shop in Leek, for the last nine years we've had a retail unit in Victoria Mill Antiques Centre in Congleton, Cheshire," read a post shared by Classic Collectables.

"Sadly the centre is closing at the end of the month, all our stock there is currently discounted by 25%."

The closure will also mean the end for the beloved Loft Cafe.

The cafe said: "We will miss our wonderful customers and friends!

"Please come in before the 20th of April to say farewell."
