Congleton's spectacular Bonfire and Fireworks is back! Gates open at 5pm. There's a torchlight procession to light the bonfire at 6pm. At 6.30 there's a special display for families with young children - smaller fireworks, but still fun. Then, while the firework team re-set, enjoy the sidestalls and fairground rides until the main display starts at 7.30pm.

This year, the event celebrates two big events. It is part of the climax to the town's 750th Charter Year. Event organiser, Rotary-Congleton is celebrating its 75th year in Congleton since its own Charter was granted. To celebrate. a special treat is being planned for the main display.

Advance tickets are £7.50 for Adults and £4 for children aged 5 to 14. On the day the full price becomes payable £10 for Adults and £6 for children. Tickets from the Information Centre at the Town Hall - or from Rotary's stall on Saturday mornings in the town centre.
